Jacques-Edouard Guillemot is an entrepreneur in the field of Customers Satisfaction, a strategy consultant and a large-scale projects manager. He works with large companies in multiple industries, to help them design their next steps and make these happen. Before his one year MBA at IMD, he lived and worked in the USA, Singapore, China, France and Switzerland. He is also a fierce sailing competitor and a glacier pilot.

A business library that fits in your pocket

Having gone through the IMD experience myself, I was amazed how Jacques managed to summarize the main concepts of the 2,5 meters of folders I have in my study into a book one can easily take anywhere. I have recently used it for the preparation of an interview and it was a great help. In Addition Jacques captured the inspiration and a hint of the transitional nature of an MBA experience. This book is worthwhile for anyone who did or wants to do an MBA as well as the lifelong learners of the business community.

Great Overview, Review, First View

Yes, Mum is a collection of pearls, those ah ha, transformative moments for the author during an IMD MBA course. The writing is to-the-point, the intent is clear, and the overall impact is quite positive. Read this book if you want an overview of a first-rate MBA process, if you want a review of conceptually interesting business approaches, and if you are building a first view of business thinking beyond the foundational level. Educators, read this book to understand what happens in a first-rate MBA experience, too! This is a gem of a book.

I really enjoyed the way Jacques-Edouard Guillemot captures the essence of the MBA experience in an entertaining and easy to read format. Perfect as both a recap for MBA graduates or anyone who has ever wondered what goes on inside one of the top MBA schools, 'yes Mum' helps summarize the important business content of an MBA while at the same time providing valuable information about the MBA journey. An informative and entertaining read.
